Loving it, actually. I thought the first season was brilliant, and the second was better. However, I feel like the season has made some great refinements. The second season was pretty dark, since it centered around a power struggle between two of big ladies in the prison. This one is lighter. More focused on individual stories. And the story arcs are longer. In the first two seasons, only a small number of characters had ongoing stories. In this one, pretty much everyone–even minor characters–has stuff going on. 

I do wonder, though, if maybe it’s bad that the darkness has lessened. This show never makes prison seem fun, precisely. I mean, it always seems tedious and dull and dehumanizing. But…the show does amuse and entertain and leave you feeling good.
