Hi author friends. My release date is about a year away at this point, and I’m looking into ways that I can promote my book? What did you all do? It’s a YA contemporary novel, so some standard science fiction / fantasy venues and tactics won’t be applicable, but I’m still interested in hearing about it.

In terms of guest blogging and interviews, were there specific sites you found helpful? How did you go about approaching blogs? How did you find which ones to approach?

In terms of in-person events, which ones were most helpful? Did you do library and school visits? If so, how did you go about setting them up?

What other sorts of promotion are out there? How did you handle Goodreads? What am I not thinking of?
