Alright, I cut about a thousand words and added maybe six hundred. After the rewrites I feel alot better about approaching the ending. I still don’t know how it’s going to end, but I see several equally probably possibilities. It’s all so very interesting. Then, after I finally finish the ding dang durned thing I’m going to read it aloud, revise, edit, cut, add, etc and turn it in by tomorrow. It’s nice to know that no matter how good the piece is, Michael Swanwick will completely rip out its intestines and use them to create a better story. (Seriously, it is nice to know that).
